Location
Our plant for design and production of Medical Temperature Probes is located in the University City of Roskilde, about thirty kilometers west of Copenhagen.  
EXACON SCIENTIFIC A/S was founded i 1978, with the purpose to specialize within design and manufacture of medical thermometry instrumentation.
 

Design
EXACON Temperature Probes are exclusively designed for medical purposes, with shaping matching most suitable to

the human anatomy. This is covering both the mechanical form, and our requirements and choice of first class materials, that have proven their capability not to expose allergy reactions and to resist both body liquids and all commonly used disinfectants and chemical sterilization methods including the heat, steam and pressure they are exposed to during sterilization in steam autoclaves.

 

Laboratory and QA departments

The department teams takes care of product design and development of new products, new material evaluation and new production methods. Our laboratory maintains also re-calibration, of our medical temperature probes of all brands.

Our QA teams are furthermore participating in the quality inspection both in house and at our suppliers sites.

 

Main program
EXACON major production program consists of thermistor and thermocouple based medical temperature probes for use with all modern patient monitors in OP, ICU, Pediatrics

and for scientific applications.

We perform development and production of OEM specified medical temperature probes for research and science, in particular within Intensive Care, Oncology and Cardiology.

Production
We are producing all essential components and the final products in house.

We cooperate furthermore with a number of well specialized subcontractors worldwide, there have documented their capabilities to fulfill our restrict quality requirements

Distribution
EXACON products are delivered Worldwide through an international network of importers, distributors and dealers that all are specialized within the area of medical technical instrumentation and accessories, in particular within anesthesiology in OP, ICU, Pediatrics and Laboratories.
